My name is Jane Condon. My husband, Tom, and I are very excited to help chair the Capital Campaign. We started our journey together at St. Joseph’s church in Barnum, Iowa where we were married. We continued on, raising four children in that parish where they were baptized and celebrated their First Reconciliations and First Communions there. When St. Joseph’s closed, we felt the loss of our parish family and struggled to find a new parish home. We’ve attended mass in Clare and Moorland, and sometimes Fort Dodge. With the closing of Clare and Moorland we feel the time has come to work towards a one-site parish for our community.
We do know what it feels like to lose a place of worship; a place you hold so dear in your heart. We are honored to be a part of this incredible journey to create a new home for everyone in Webster County. We want that sense of community that we dearly loved about our previous parish. We believe it is time to come together to create a place where all members of our parish feel welcome and at home.
