Have you ever thought of giving to the parish  in someone's name?  Here are some quick thoughts!

Charity Account - utlized to give to Upper Des Moines Opportunity to help the less forunate, pay for our parish radio broadcast and also to help individuals who come to our office needing special assistance. 

Catholic Food Pantry -the number of households and individuals who are being served by our parish food pantry is growing each year.  Through generous donations of parishioners we are able to purchase food through the Food Bank of Iowa for discounted prices (.14 per pound in most cases).  

FOOD PROJECT / FOOD RESOURCE BANK - as a parish we have given for several years to an agricultural based education and growing project in Timor Leste, facilitated by Catholic Relief Services.  As of October our Timor Leste projected was complete!  As those in Timor Leste are now able to be independent of the services of CRS!!  We will now work on a project in Mayamir.
